A geographic information system and remote sensing practitioner since 2007, Leo has been involved in several forestry and environmental projects that deal with geospatial analyses. Recent access to drone technology brought him to appreciate low altitude-high resolution remote sensing. Using various photogrammetry and remote sensing techniques, Leo has worked on researches about canopy cover changes, landslide vegetation regeneration, 3D landscape modeling, and land surveying among others. He also shares knowledge and experience as a resource person to various GIS and remote sensing trainings.

Aside from research, Leo is exploring building semi-automated fixed-wing drones as well as other multirotor
technologies for various applications in forestry including short to mid-range aerial monitoring and aerial
cinematography.

Infuse your life with action. Don't wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love. And whatever your beliefs, honor your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen... yourself, right now, right down here on Earth.
